Like most Nigerians, I’ve never been on a train ride in Nigeria before. So last weekend I decided to change that by taking a train to Enugu. The story about the train ride will have to come later though.

I met up with a good friend for a photo walk, exploring the coal city. Enugu feels a lot like Calabar in a lot of ways. The people seem to be just as laid back as in Calabar, clean streets, traffic lights that work and are obeyed. I will be visiting again for another photo walk or maybe even an instameet.

The photos were taken over two days. First day mostly consists of pictures from the hills around the Agbani area of Enugu. The second day of the photo walk mainly consists of photos from people exercising at the Michael Okpara Square. It was nice to see so many people come out so early to exercise in an area that wasn’t particularly designed for exercising. There were people roller skating, jogging, cycling, playing football and even dancing.

It was a fun experience. I hope you like the pictures.
