I wasn’t paying attention when the curator was speaking. I had a lot on my mind which is what usually happens when I don’t live by the principle in this tweet.

I did hear enough to know that what the curator was saying was kind of different from what I had read online.
 

The monoliths I visited are in Alok, Ikom. There are other monoliths in some other villages in and around Ikom, larger monoliths I am told. I saw only the ones in the photos below as I didn’t take the guided tour (stress and all).
