Do you have any plans for the public holiday on the 1st of October? Regardless, you should add this art exhibition holding on that day if you’re in or around Port Harcourt. The Call of the Niger Delta Art Expo will feature twenty artists based in the Niger Delta presenting works that celebrate Nigeria’s independence through the eyes of the Niger Delta.
I know, I know, you might think there isn’t a lot to celebrate, and that’s fine. So come see what the artists think. There will also be talks from renowned artists Prof Frank Ugiomoh, Mr Segun Aiyesan and Mr Diseye Tantua.
The event will start with an opening ceremony by 10:00 AM on the the 1st of October. It will run till the 5th of October, 2019. There will be seminars, poetry, music and lots more during the exhibition.
The venue is the Onyoma Research Centre, 11 Orogbum Cresecent, GRA Phase II, Port Harcourt, Nigeria.
